Autumn – one of four seasons in the northern hemisphere.

Autumn is during the months, september, october and november, when the daily temperature is between 0 – 10 degrees celsius (32 – 50 farenheit).

Autumn is the time when crops are being harvested and trees are prepering to rest in the winter. Of course, in other regions, for example the tropics they can harvest up to three times.

The process when leaves are getting reddish or yellowish on trees is when trees are producing acid. Chlorophyll are dissapearing in plants because plants need the energy to store in wintertime. When spring arrives, the chlorophyll are released and plants start to grow again.(1)(2)
